About Refresh

Refresh started as an internal tool. We ran a dozen brands, each on its own email account with its own login, its own keys and its own idea of what DMARC should look like. Nothing crossed accounts, so nothing could be seen in one place. We built the control plane we wanted: domains, DKIM keys, DNS, templates, contacts, suppression, events and logs together, with delivery through a provider we can swap without touching an app.

The platform is an Obsidian Heron initiative. It runs on Amazon SES in the United States. Each domain has its own signing key, encrypted at rest and, for client organizations, under a dedicated encryption key.
