How do I send email from the contact form on my website?
Send the form message from your server through the Refresh send API, or through the SMTP relay on port 465, with an API key. Refresh DKIM-signs every message with the key of your domain and does not let a domain send until its SPF and DMARC records verify.
What you get
- Every message gets a DKIM signature from the active 2048-bit key of the sending domain.
- A domain cannot send until its DKIM, SPF and DMARC records verify.
- The SMTP relay serves a CMS, a mail server or any program that cannot call HTTP.
- The console shows ready SMTP configuration for Postfix, WP Mail SMTP, Python, Node.js and .NET.
- Each message can carry one reply_to address, for example the address that the visitor types into the form.
- A Test key lets you try the form end to end. Test sends never leave the platform.
- The Free plan includes 3,000 emails a month and 100 a day.
How it works
- Add your domain, publish the DNS records, and wait until the domain shows Verified.
- Mint a SEND key restricted to that domain, and keep the token in your server environment.
- Point the form handler at POST /api/v1/emails, or a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP at port 465.
- Test with a Test key first, then change to the Live key.
